Like in Sironi’s works, where urban outskirts transform into timeless landscapes, Shed draws inspiration from the jagged rooftops of factories and the smokestacks that once defined the urban skyline. Those structures, now relics of industrial archaeology, are reimagined in a domestic object, where wood and glazed porcelain stoneware converse through clean volumes, evoking a past that still resonates with us today.

The geometric, sawtooth base serves as a functional support, echoing the shed roofs of old workshops, while the upper body rises like a smokestack, morphing into an elegant and functional container.

In an era where technology reshapes our habits, Shed celebrates the beauty of desk objects, imbuing them with a near-metaphysical aura. Just as industrial architecture finds new life through adaptive reuse, this holder becomes a small domestic monument—a tribute to the poetry of lived-in spaces.

In this way, Shed embodies the design philosophy of Sapiens Design: we craft objects that tell stories, because we believe design should question time, turning the useful into the meaningful.
