A tall and narrow-necked vase and a shallow bowl are the “material co-protagonists” of Aesop’s fable “The Fox and the Stork”, as it is precisely from these two objects that the subdued dispute between the two animals arises. From the evocative power of this fable arises the pair of cups “The Fox and the Stork”, designed by Gloria on the occasion of “Sono Tazza di te! 100 smashing women designer”, a selection of cups and saucers destined for a traveling exhibition curated by Anty Pansera and Patrizia Sacchi.

By relating these two objects in a game of opposing shapes and complementary colors, Gloria wanted to draw attention to the importance of empathizing with others and the necessity of dialogue and mutual respect. Inaugurated during the Milan Design Week 2021 at Casa Museo Boschi di Stefano, the exhibition “Sono tazza di te!” moves first to Vietri sul Mare and then to Lugano, within the YouNique 2022 event.
