Coffee tables

Energieker | 2026

Forms emerging like pebbles smoothed by water, resting in the bed of a river.
Nesso is a family of four coffee tables designed to be freely arranged, in constant dialogue with one another and with the surrounding space. Their forms draw inspiration from the action of water and wind, forces that patiently shape stone. A continuous, almost imperceptible process that, over time, softens edges, carves surfaces and gives rise to geometries that are never perfectly regular.
From this idea emerge four distinct elements, each defined by its own proportions, height and character.
Duna stretches out into the space with a long, generous profile. Nido rises vertically, gathering into a more compact form. Ombra remains close to the ground, a quiet presence around which to gather. Oasi, by contrast, takes on a softer, more embracing shape.

In each piece, the porcelain stoneware top emerges from the upholstered base like a mineral presence surfacing through a softer material.
Two contrasting surfaces come together: the solidity of ceramic and the softness of fabric, resilience and comfort. Their juxtaposition creates a contrast that is visual and tactile, but also semantic. Two distinct worlds of meaning coexist without hierarchy, held in a balance that is both material and conceptual.
Porcelain stoneware, a defining material for Energieker, moves beyond its conventional role as a surface covering to become something to touch, use and inhabit. The upholstered base follows its outline and softens its presence, turning the coffee table into an object suspended between a supporting surface and informal seating.
Together, the elements form an archipelago of solid yet welcoming islands, designed to be freely combined like fragments of a landscape to inhabit.
