A drop that falls, a groove that becomes deeper every day, deforming the underlying surface. From these suggestions, “Goccia” is born, a thermoformed shower tray designed for Pollini Home, a company constantly searching for innovation in the field of transforming porcelain stoneware slabs.
This search has led them to develop an innovative curving technique through thermoforming.

In Goccia, this process is applied both to the surface of the tray, which facilitates water flow with slope and without leaks, and to its raised lateral profile.
The tray is designed to be installed flush with the floor, creating a deformation effect of the covering material in perfect continuity with the rest of the bathroom environment.

Premiered during Milan Design Week 2023, Goccia, and with it the entire “Beyond the edge” collection, demonstrates that it is possible to go beyond the limits imposed by the flatness of slabs to overcome the net and angular volumes, in favor of a curvilinear imaginary composed of soft and connected lines.
